Who is responsible for your data

The controller of personal data collected through this website is Evan Anapliotis, an individual trading as Telio. Contact: evan@mcrsites.co.uk.

What this website does not do

• It sets no cookies and uses no local storage.
• It runs no analytics, tracking or advertising scripts.
• It has no forms. The calculator runs in your browser, and nothing you type into it is sent anywhere.
• It loads no fonts, scripts or images from other websites. The fonts are hosted with the site.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser details and the pages requested, so that it can deliver the site and keep it secure. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website. Cloudflare acts as our service provider, keeps its own logs under its own retention rules, and may process this data outside the UK; its privacy policy explains how it protects data it transfers. We have not turned on any visitor logging or analytics of our own, so we don't keep a record of your visit.

If you email us

The "Get a quote" links and the buttons on the contact page open a ready-made email in your own email app. Nothing is sent unless you send it. If you do, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. Your email is stored with our email provider.

• Replying to you: our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us.
• Preparing a quote you asked for: taking steps at your request before a contract, if you are asking for yourself (for example as a sole trader). If you write on behalf of a company, we rely on our legitimate interest in dealing with that company's request.

If no work follows, we delete your emails within 12 months of our last exchange. If work follows, we keep them for as long as the work lasts and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records after that.

Links to other websites

Some links go to other websites, such as the example sites, Treatwell's pricing page and Pexels. If you follow one, that website's own privacy notice applies. The example sites, at examples.telio.uk, are a separate demo deployment of ours. They set no cookies; if you use their "Make it yours" or "Save my look" options, your choices are kept only in your own browser and are not sent anywhere. Their photos are stock photos from Pexels, credited on those sites. The screenshots of them on our examples page are hosted with this site and carry the same Pexels credit.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, depending on the circumstances, you can ask for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct it, delete it or restrict how we use it. Where we rely on steps before a contract, you can also ask for the data you gave us in a portable format.

You have the right to object to any use of your data that relies on our legitimate interests.

To use any of these rights, email evan@mcrsites.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
